Morinji Temple

The raccoon dog in Morinji Temple
can change into a teakettle.

As a temple, Morinji is honestly pretty small and only moderately impressive. However the statues of raccoon dogs are absolutely hilarious. With their derpy faces and huge testicles it is impossible not to laugh. I went first with my ALT friend in 2011, and again in April of 2013 to enjoy the cherry blossoms. I highly recommend cherry blossom season because not only is Morinji nice then, but the park near city hall has a great display of Koinobori.

I have just one question though... If you were a raccoon dog and could change into anything, why choose a teakettle? haha
